This is a short study of a Biblical example of conversion into the Body of Christ by simple childlike faith in the work of the Savior. When we take God at His Word that His Son GIVES us eternal life and that life is in His Son - the witness of God is greater than the witness of men - so He counts our faith as righteousness and IMPUTES GOD'S RIGHTEOUSNESS UPON ALL WHO TRUST IN WHAT JESUS DID ALONE and NONE Of their own WORKS. IF IT BE OF WORKS IT IS NO LONGER GRACE, OTHERWISE WORK IS NO MORE WORK. Grace and works are diametrically opposed to one another so adding works to grace CANCEL GRACE. This Biblical example shows how simply we are saved by RECEIVING FROM GOD not giving. We give ONCE WE ARE SAVED bc we are debtors to God and bc its our "reasonable service" after He has Saved us!
